General Guidance, Not Advice

This site is general information about pension tax, not advice on your own affairs. An annual allowance calculation, a taper, a relief claim or the tax on a company contribution turns on your specific figures, and you should not act on a general page without taking advice on your own position. Nothing here is an offer, and no client relationship exists until an engagement letter is signed.

The work, when engaged, is carried out by Tidy Money Ltd, regulated by the ACCA. We provide accountancy and tax services. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, and nothing on this site is regulated financial advice or a recommendation about a pension product, transfer, drawdown, annuity or investment. For that you need an FCA-authorised adviser.

Figures and Dates

Every allowance, threshold, rate and date on the site was checked against a primary source, gov.uk, the HMRC Pensions Tax Manual or the legislation, on the review date shown on each page, and is stated for the tax year it applies to. Pension tax figures change at each Budget, and some rules are enacted before they take effect, so check the current position for your own year before you rely on a number, or ask us.

Who Does the Work

Accountancy services described on this site are provided by Tidy Money Ltd. Any engagement is subject to a separate written engagement letter and to anti-money-laundering identity checks. Nothing on this website forms an engagement on its own.
